This optional smart card is the perfect addition to your HS256S high security hard drive. 

EAL5 (Evaluation Assurance Level) is awarded by the BSI (Federal Office for Information Security). This means a very high level of security for the smart card and its HIGH SECURITY hard drive HS256S. The Java based smart card stores the digital trade app for managing the cryptographic key. On it, the AES key is stored encrypted and can only be used in combination with the HS256S. 

The EAL 5 certification achieves the highest level of security that also creates the necessary conditions for public authorities.
